Hey There!

Thanks for checking us out, I'm Pat and that's Kate. We opened The Boardroom to bring something new and exciting to the town we love so much.

Phoenixville PA, is a special place. I'm inspired and humbled by all of the talented entrepreneurs, community organizers, chefs, neighbors, etc. that make this place the home that it is for so many.

Opening The Boardroom with some of my closest friends was a dream come true and we're all grateful for the opportunity to serve you and your loved ones.

The Boardroom Story

I've always loved restaurants and bars. Some of my earliest and fondest memories are of accompanying my parents to their favorite spots, places where the hum of conversation blended with the clink of glasses and the strum of live music. I watched in awe as people transformed these spaces into vibrant, living scenes of connection and joy. The men and women who orchestrated these atmospheres seemed larger than life to me as a child. They weren’t just serving food or drinks; they were creating experiences, building communities. I admired them and, deep down, knew that I wanted to one day emulate that magic.

As I grew older, my love for these lively spaces only deepened. I noticed how certain places managed to make everyone feel welcome, how regulars felt like they were part of a family. I saw successful individuals unwinding, enjoying the ambiance, and it struck me that a truly great establishment didn’t just serve food; it provided a sense of belonging. In a world where many high-end restaurants seemed to lose their authenticity in pursuit of prestige, I envisioned a place that balanced coolness with genuine warmth, a place where the bartender engaged in meaningful conversations rather than just taking orders.

When I finally decided to open my own restaurant, my mind was a whirl of memories and ideas. I recalled those special outings with my parents, especially the joy on my dad's face. My father is a a man who is happy with the little things in life. My memories of those evenings dining out with us, his family, are times I remember  as jouyful moments. I wanted to recreate that joy for other families, to offer a space where people of all ages could come together and feel at home.

With this inspiration, I set out to create not just a restaurant, but a sanctuary. I knew it wasn't just about the menu or the decor; it was about building a home-like atmosphere. My vision was clear: a place where everyone, from young professionals to families, could find something they loved. Along with my friend and head chef George Crow, we carefully crafted a diverse menu that ranged from comforting classics to more adventurous dishes, ensuring there was something for every palate.
